The Cape Cod Military Museum is presenting a lecture on Cape Cod during WWII. Their presentation will include the big stories like the visits made to Washburn by General George S. Patton and heavyweight boxing champ Joe Louis... Plus the small stories about children scouring the shores of Waquoit Bay looking for discarded foil packets of instant coffee which their mother's craved because coffee was rationed.
The Yacht Club and its uses during WWII are mentioned in this lecture! Members and the public invited.
